English Pea Salad


Ingredients:

  • 2 cups frozen green peas, lightly cooked and drained
  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced celery
  • 1/2 cup unpeeled chopped red apple
  • 2 teaspoons minced sweet onion
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons sour cream or plain yogurt
  • grated or shredded cheese

Preparation:

Combine peas, celery, apple, and onion in a medium bowl; set aside. Combine mayonnaise, sour cream, and cheese; pour over pea mixture, tossing gently. Cover and chill.
Serves 4.
